Our History

Our carpet cleaning company is the brainchild of Tom Siegmann, aka Siggy. Back in 1971, steam cleaning had not yet taken off. Siggy was one of the first steam cleaners in Contra Costa County, making him a leader of the time.
 
Siggy brought his steam cleaning services to clients by working out of a mail truck with a portable cleaner attached. Later he expanded by building a truck-mounted steam clean system and attaching it to a Toyota. His business rapidly grew over the years.
 
Siggy knew that to serve his clients best, he had to be more than a carpet cleaner. He had to be a community member. You could find Siggy at many Chamber of Commerce mixers in his iconic red shirt, laughing and having a great time.
 
In 2003, Siggy handed the company down to his son-in-law, Chris Rossi, who was “Siggy-trained” in the best carpet cleaning techniques. Siggy planned to retire. But with all his energy, he just couldn’t. Two weeks after retiring, he went back to work in Brentwood and expanded Siggy's Carpet Cleaning into East Contra Costa County.
